
The 2nd MGR Appeal Meeting
The second "MGR Appeal" meeting was a resounding success. We have a few more members joining us. We welcome Paul Harrison, Richard Bywater, John Arnold and John Birkenhead. We discussed ideas on raising funds, agreed on purchasing a floor banner and making up some leaflets to hand out to the public at selected events. The MGR Meeting
Today was a success at Barrow Hill. I met up with Glen at around 11am, he was unable to attend the meeting later in the day so made the effort to come early for a chat and a cuppa. Glen told me that he was a BR welder/fabricator and his experience will be extremely handy in getting the two MGRs (and subsequent purchases) repaired.
