The MGR Meeting
Today was a success at Barrow Hill.
I met up with Glen at around 11am, he was unable to attend the meeting later in the day so made the effort to come early for a chat and a cuppa.
Glen told me that he was a BR welder/fabricator and his experience will be extremely handy in getting the two MGRs (and subsequent purchases) repaired.
During the meeting, we have settled on the name of the group as "The National Wagon Preservation Group".
The following membership positions were assigned:
Chairman - William Snook
Secretary - Richard Prestidge
Honourary President - David Monk-Steel
PR & Media Manager - Michael Prince
The positions were proposed and seconded by various attendees.
We then visited the wagons, they were looking great basking in the sun.
